Aldo Capitini e la nonviolenza: religione, biofilia e omnicrazia

di Sara Lagi e Nicoletta Stradaioli

Abstract: the essay addresses the Italian philosopher Aldo Capitini’s nonviolent theory by focusing on three specific elements underpinning his philosophical and political reflection: his anti-dogmatic concept of religion, his «biophilic» attitude and his political project of a new form of democracy, called omnicracy. More precisely, by discussing some of the major intellectual points of reference for Capitini, such as San Francesco, Gandhi and Piero Martinetti, the essay will argue and show how these three elements interplay with each other and how all of them imply Capitini’s belief in the transformative power of nonviolence.

Keywords: nonviolence – religion – biophily – omnicracy – pacifism

Il fascismo attraverso gli anime: tra Porco Rosso e Conan

di Massimo Farina

Abstract: between skies and seas crossed by seaplanes, two stories set in completely different periods and places tell the metapolitical meaning of fascism according to Miyazaki Hayao. The internal conflict of the human being, aware of his microfascist nature, leads him to deleterious relationships with his fellow men and with nature. Despite the awareness of this innate human condition and the consequent disillusionment, the message of hope for change and universal reconciliation is constant.

Keywords: Porco Rosso – Anime – Conan – Fascism – War
