The subject of the embryo concerns not only our original human condition, but also the integrity and truth of any philosophy that looks in this direction. Therefore, the author develops a comparison with the relevant position of Emanuele Severino on this topic, with the aim of showing that it cannot pass the scrutiny of logical and metaphysical investigation.
