Abstract: born in Berlin into a family of the Jewish bourgeoisie Ursula Hirschmann is at the forefront of the resistance ranks against the advance of Nazism. Her political and intellectual commitment is closely linked to her biographical story. You are a prominent figure in the history of the European integration process, strongly committed to the realization of a revolutionary project for a free and united Europe, alongside Eugenio Colorni and Altiero Spinelli, you have a central role in the clandestine dissemination of the Manifesto di Ventotene. In the seventies you continued your battle for European unification also through the creation of the Femmes pour l ‘Europe movement.
